Excellent place with excellent wi-fi, a spa & wellness center, and 24-hour reception. The staff kindly returned my forgotten item, which I remember fondly. I'm excited to return next year!

Breakfast was very good,. the location of the hotel is perfect, you can reach many sights on foot, historical tram 22 leaves directly in front of the hotel, hop-on-hop-off busses leave directly from Placa da Liberdade
in the late afternoon and into the evening a small band with drums and guitar played daily on the Placa da Liberdade - was loud, but the hotel could not help it

Exactly what I think, no more, no less
While the rooms are cozy and staff are good, the outdated facilities and inconsistent service might deter a return visit. There's potential here, but significant distractions should be resolved first.

The receptionist was extremely friendly! Cool music in the bar.
The breakfast! Quality of products and service. Dishes like in prison or in a hostel! Worst breakfast cafe ever! Do NOT have breakfast in the hotel!

Staff at the bar and concierges really super !
Air conditioning in the room very loud, after we reported it, apparently nothing was done, as it was equally loud.

Charming, Charming, Charming
I had the pleasure of enjoying a spacious King Bed Classic Liberty Square View room. The breakfast spread was rich, with everything from succulent pastries to freshly squeezed juices that really set the tone for the day. The concierge service completely stole the show, helping me arrange the perfect wine tasting experience that showcased the local culture.
totally recommend 🥰🌟

Fairly clean place and amazing location, enjoyed extremely friendly and fantastically friendly staff. Had an airy classic king room, which allowed us to enjoy pleasant view of the town square. It's own balcony and coffee-making facilities in the room were useful...

The hotel is very centrally located on the most beautiful square of Porto. Rooms well designed. Breakfast excellent.
A bit noisy at night, but that's the price for the great view.

The room was cozy with a variety of pillows, a nice touch for a comfy sleep. It had a decent size, but the lighting was pretty dim. The bathroom was nice but kind of small, with weak shower water flow. The comfort level was hit or miss, depending on what part of the room you were using.

Good location - restaurant is good and staff very helpful indeed. This hotel is an excellent location and serves the business community as well as holiday stays
The writing desk is a little small and could be moved to the corner of the room - looking into the room leaving the plasma screen free for viewing from the bed area. This may be more logical space utilization and will make working a little more comfortable.

The attention of the Intercontinental Porto's personnel is excellent. You really feel like a vip. Hotel is brand new and very well located in the city center. Good design and room are big, clean and very comfortable. This hotel is a must and I will repeat in future visits to Porto. Congratulations.

We have stayed in dozens of hotels in France Spain and Portugal on this trip, the intercontinental has been the stand out . The gorgeous reception area and the fabulous rooms were matched by the quality of the staff. They were professional and at the same time personable. Their style in receiving new guests and even showing them to the room was excellent. They offered to print our boarding passes, and even offered to parcel some excess goods to send home. Apparently it only opened a year ago and they managed to retain an old world charm in a heritage building with a superb reproduction feel. The quality and thought put into such things as the bathroom fittings, curtains, linen, toiletries etc is second to none. Step outside the front door and you are looking down a beautiful town square, near to great shopping and backing directly on to the Old Town, and a pleasant five minute walk to the lively riverbank. The only thing we didn't enjoy was having to leave...and will we ever stay anywhere as nice !
I didn't like that the towels were so nice that I now have to go home and buy new ones !
